Bio:
I was born and raised in Quebec, but I’ve lived in six different provinces, from Nova Scotia to British Columbia. Regina has been my home since 1997.
I joined the Royal Canadian Navy in 1962 and served eight years as a sonarman, mostly on destroyer Escorts but the last two years were spent in Submarines.

Before retiring in 2008, I worked for many years in the labour movement, both as an elected officer and on staff. I was National President of NABET, and when that union merged with CEP, I assumed the position, National Vice President – Media.
While working with CEP in Regina, I helped provide communications support and coordinated union education within Saskatchewan.
I am no stranger to political action and have appeared many times before regulatory, parliamentary and legislative committees. I am very comfortable working as a member of a board, and serve as a director of the Regina Folk Festival, Vice President of the Saskatchewan Chapter of Fair Vote Canada, and sit as a member of the Saskatchewan Labour Market Commission.
