My wife Shelley and I live in Regina Saskatchewan. We have two adult children. Morgan has an Honours Degree in Religious Studies with a minor in Anthropology. She recently moved back to Regina from London England and is working on her degree in sociology. Christopher is into his third year at the University of Regina, majoring in physics. My daughter Sue lives in Anchorage with her husband and two beautiful daughters Although I have lived in Regina for the last 10 years or so, I am not really from the prairies. I was born in Quebec but I have lived in 6 different provinces from coast to coast. I don’t consider myself a regional Canadian. I am now retired but I have had several interesting jobs in my life so far. I spent eight years in the Canadian Navy including a stint in the Submarine Service, I was employed in the television and Radio industry and I worked within the trade union movement for 30 years or so. I will accept small contracts to act as an instructor in trade union education, or communications. I will write and design newsletters and I am available to sit an a union nominee on arbitrations boards.
I serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the Regina Folk Festival.
For several years I was on the SLFDB. When it was disbanded I was appointed to the Saskatchewan Labour Market Commission
